Federica Jancek will present the Art of Sandro Botticelli, renowned Early Renaissance painter from the Florentine school. Botticelli's career was a continuous search for idealized beauty and grace, with strong influences of mysticism in his later work.
Federica holds a degree in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali and achieved Maestro d'Arte in her native Verona. She currently lives in Massachusetts and works as a conservator of art, interior designer, and decorative painter.

Dr. Matteo Casini will present the history of one of the most famous cities in the world, from the commercial and imperial rise in the Middle Ages to the fascinating age of the Renaissance, from the splendors of Canaletto to the new life and challenges of the 20th century.
Matteo Casini is a Venetian scholar of Italian Renaissance history, and a senior lecturer of Renaissance and Mediterranean history at Suffolk University and University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Sabrina and her students at the "Grotte di Catullo" in Sirmione, on Lake Garda. This site is the most striking example of a Roman villa discovered in northern Italy. Sirmione is also famous for its thermal springs and the Scaligeri Castle.
