Sabrina Amadei has been teaching Italian to both group and individuals for over 30 years. A native speaker of Italian with a passion for teaching, Sabrina started Italian with Sabrina in 2008. She gives private and group classes from beginner to advanced levels from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on weekdays all year long. The classes are held in her Winchester home.
Time and time again, student testimonials have proven Sabrina's belief that when taking Italian with Sabrina you can both work hard but at the same time have fun! Her students come from the greater Boston metropolitan area including the towns of WInchester, Concord, Carlisle, Acton, Lincoln, Lexington, Bedford, Arlington, Belmont, Danvers, Boxborough, Wayland, Cambridge, and Sudbury.
Sabrina was born in Verona, Italy, where she earned her teaching degree. While in Verona, she worked as an interpreter, a tour guide, and an English teacher. After moving to the U.S. in 1984, she worked as an interpreter for the Italian consulates in Houston and Boston. During her extensive teaching career, Sabrina has taught children at the St. John School in Boston, adult education classes in Lexington, Concord, Winchester, and in local restaurants and cafes.
Sabrina has also expanded her teaching by organizing and leading student group trips to Italy where she immerses them in the Italian language and culture. She has taken her students to various regions of Italy including Tuscany, Puglia, Veneto, Trentino, and Lombardia. Moreover, Sabrina has organized and taught Italian cooking classes in her personally designed kitchen.
